The club covers the areas of Bathurst, Belle-Baie, Allardville and Belledune.** **Chaleur Soccer Club** **offers programs for all ages, grassroots to senior soccer. Our summer activities start with tryouts in April, mini-program in June then ends in August. The winter activities run from November to March.** Our ClubHub store is now live, giving all members access to official club apparel for the upcoming season. Available items include shorts, socks, training jackets, raincoats, and backpacks. We are now accepting applications for our summer students positions.  We are now accepting applications for U11, U13, U15, and U18 coaches, assistants, and managers for the upcoming summer season. The president looks over the entire committee. Vice President is the officer directly under the President and shall preside at meetings in the absence of the President. The treasurer is responsible for daily finances, bookkeeping of the association and ensures the preparation of the annual and monthly reports. The secretary will be responsible for affairs of the association. The secretary will draft the minutes of the meetings of the Board of Directors and Executive Office in the language of his or her choice. The registrar is responsible for managing registrations and maintaining the club’s member records. Shin pads must not be worn over the socks because of the risk of the pads cutting another player. A closed pair of shoes is also needed to participate (soccer cleats are recommended). For the mini-program during a practice a player is free to wear what he would like but during any game it is recommended wearing the same colour of shirt as his team. No soccer knowledge is necessary! The students will take care of the technical aspect of the game. We need our parent coaches to help keep the kids in a calm and learning friendly environment and also make line substitutions during games. Parents who have knowledge of the sport and are willing to help teach the kids with the employees are also welcome. **Youth program Coach:** Our youth programs or competitive soccer programs are always in need of parents to either be a coach or assistant coach. Parents with limited knowledge of the sport can always start as an assistant to help learn the sport. Coaching courses can also be arranged for parents willing to learn. It is important to know that anyone who would like to coach a AAA team must have a minimum of a C license. **Special events:** Every season Chaleur soccer holds a few fundraiser events and tournaments that greatly rely on the number of volunteers. Help is needed for various tasks during these days. **Member of the executive commitee:** The Chaleur soccer committee is made entirely out of volunteers that are willing to give up some of their time on a weekly basis for a 1 year-term. This program structured by the Soccer Chaleur club takes place every summer between June and August which ends with the minifest in mid-August. This program is supervised by regional director with the help of summer students who lead practices for players with the help of volunteer parents. No tryouts are necessary to participate in this program which can however be limited depending on the number of summer employees and volunteers we have. The tots group plays once a week on Sundays, while the other groups (U5 / U7 / U9) play twice a week, on Mondays and Wednesdays. The U11 House League offers a fun, inclusive, and local soccer experience for boys and girls of all skill levels. It is designed for families looking for a low-commitment, community-based program with no travel required. Players will enjoy one weekly practice led by our summer staff and volunteer coaches, along with a weekly game on Thursday evenings. Teams are balanced to ensure a positive and development-focused environment for all players. The Soccer Chaleur club is part of the northern region which plays with the clubs of the Acadian Peninsula, Restigouche, Edmundston and Miramichi. The U11Travel / U13 / U15 / U18 male and female age groups are part of the activities of the Northern League. The northern league has days of games in a jamboree format where teams play 2-3 games on the same day to avoid travel. League activities begin in early June and end in mid-August. To be part of a team the club holds tryouts in late April or early May to form a team. The dates are posted on our social media a few weeks in advance. Participating teams in Division 1 & 2 practice twice a week, usually once in Petit-Rocher and once in Bathurst. No soccer knowledge is required as practices will be facilitated by our summer employees. Coaches should, at the outset, clarify with the player (and, where appropriate, their parents) exactly what is expected of them and also what they are entitled to expect from their coach. 9. Coaches must co-operate fully with other specialists (e.g. other coaches, officials, doctors, physiotherapists) in the best interests of the player. 10. Coaches must always promote the appropriate Code of Conduct and positive aspects of the sport (e.g. fair play) to players, parents, and spectators alike. Never condone violations of the Laws of the Game, behavior contrary to the spirit of the Laws of the Game or relevant rules and regulations or the use of prohibited substances or techniques. 11. Coaches must consistently display high standards of behavior and experience and be a role model for players, parents, and spectators. 12. Not engage in a sexual relationship with an athlete under 18 years old, or an intimate or sexual relationship with an athlete over the age of 18 if in a position of power, trust, or authority over the athlete; 13. Dress professionally, neatly, and inoffensively. 14. Report any ongoing criminal investigations, previous convictions or existing bail conditions. 15. It remains the responsibility of parents / legal guardians to read their email or established method of communication for the group.** **No player who is not registered in the winter program of the year in question will be able to participate in an event including organized games unless there are not enough players available for the creation of a team.** **If too many players in the group in question show interest in the event, the coaches and / or managers will have to make a selection on a "first come, first served" basis or by random selection.** **Any other player selection method or situation that goes against this policy must be evaluated by the Soccer Chaleur club's executive committee.** - Our ClubHub store is now live, giving all members access to official club apparel for the upcoming season. Available items include shorts, socks, training jackets, raincoats, and backpacks. Please note that shorts and socks will not be mandatory for play, but are available for those who wish to purchase them. We are planning one single order for the summer season. Once the store closes, all orders will be processed together, shipped to the club, and available for pickup locally to members by Chaleur SC. Delivery is expected approximately 6 weeks after the store closes. 2\.
